Karen Pryor Academy teaches training through the science of positive reinforcement. This is a reward-based training method that does not include pain, intimidation, or corrections. Positive reinforcement is the act of rewarding a good behavior, so it is more likely to occur again (and has been proven through science!). This is a rigorous 6-month course with three final tests and is designed for continuing education throughout the rest of your career. KPA believes training should be fun and rewarding for dogs and owners alike!
